Refund Policy

At Muslim Roots Collective CIC, we work hard to keep our activities affordable and community-focused. As a small non-profit, most of our events are self-funded and rely on careful budgeting. Here’s our refund policy to help everyone understand what to expect:

Event bookings

  • Once booked, places at our events are non-refundable, except where the event is cancelled by us.

  • If we cancel an event (for example, due to weather or unforeseen circumstances), we will offer you:

    • A full refund, or

    • The option to transfer your booking to another date (where possible).

Weekly activities (e.g. Muddy Mondays)

  • If you can’t attend a booked weekly session like Muddy Mondays, you can request to transfer your payment to the next session by contacting us before the session starts.

Transfers & changes

  • For other activities, if you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible.

  • While refunds aren’t guaranteed, we will do our best to help you transfer your place to another participant or future event (subject to availability).

Courses & special programmes

For structured courses, workshops or multi-week programmes:

  • Refunds will not normally be offered once the course has begun.

  • In exceptional cases (e.g. illness or family emergency), please contact us directly and we will review your request individually.

We may update this policy from time to time. The most current version will always be on our website.
